My client is a well-known organization in Hong Kong, and they are looking for an IT Manager to spearhead the ERP system transformation and implementation initiatives (especially for the accounting & finance department). This role is for in-house projects, but a tech consulting and service provider background is preferable and this position will involve being the subject matter expert on the ERP system and actively communicating with business stakeholders from different departments.

- Work as one of the key thought leaders in the IT department for ERP transformation projects and was involved in defining the technical roadmap for the new ERP system
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver advisories or solutions for streamline operations and catalyze transformative change
- Continuously monitor system performance, analyze data to derive insights, and optimize processes for enhanced user experience and business outcomes
- Share market insight with the business and evaluate the current technological requirements and select appropriate ERP modules for ongoing business needs
- Review and manage manpower, budget, and timelines based on project priorities
- Participate in 3rd party vendors' performance management, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the IT field with a strong focus on ERP systems
- Strong experience in technical advisory/consulting; with a background working for well-known enterprises with large-scale projects is preferrable
- Familiarity with at least one (or more) well-known ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or Epicor, etc.) and a good understanding of industry best practices
- Knowledge of ERP modules for accounting & finance is a must; knowledge of modules for procurement or inventory management would be advantageous
- Strong business sense and ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders at all levels, translating technical ideas into simple language effectively
- Experience in planning and developing the annual budget, timeline, and manpower
- Proficient in spoken and written both Cantonese and English
- Good interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills
